3D Modelling and Animation

Using all the 3D Modelling Skills that have been learned, I created a high quality, well composed Scenes in 3D S Max:

1. Lighting techniques are of a required standardModelling of objects is to an appropriate standard.
2. Scene production and creation is of a high standard.
3. Accurate interpretation of the supplied briefs.
4. Effective use of Hypernurbs and Splines evident.
5. Correct use of materials and textures.
6. Comprehension of camera controls and parameters displayed.
7. Correct use of key frames and path animation
8. Correct use of key frames and path animation

Game Design

There were more projects that were supposed to be done. Here are two of them:

1. I had to research and produce a computer-based poster design for the following event: Gaming Ireland were hosting an international game event in Dublin. My newly designed game would be promoted at that event. The task was to create a poster suitable for A4 portrait prints and online use to help bring awareness to my game and the event.
The goblin image was downloaded from the Internet. All art is mine.
2. The next project was designing and producing an original game cover for Xbox or PlayStation on one of the following game themes:

· Murder Mystery
· Mangled
· Travel Challenge
· Magic Fairy Land

Computer Illustrated Graphics

One of the tasks was the following: "You are the owner of a major games company. Your along with your team have developed 4 brand new, state of the art games and you are planning to launch these games in the coming weeks. Produce a computer-based design solution to the 4 Icons brief based, that shows evidence of:

1. Computer Proficiency
2. Appropriate hardware and software configurations used for illustration graphics production
3. Documents saved in a range of appropriate file formats
4. Legal and ethical implications acknowledged, such as licensing, copyright, quotations, contracts etc, involved in using and publishing designs Processes and Techniques
5. Collection of work presented using appropriate illustration graphic software to create and edit text, graphics and images, using a variety of tools
6. Proficient navigation between programmes demonstrated
7. Evidence of appropriate selection of vector/bitmap text and artwork presented
